About rewboss
The man behind the pseudonym “rewboss” is, in real life, me: Andrew Bossom. That’s a name you won’t hear very often, although probably more often than you’d expect: there are at least two other Andrew Bossoms in the world, possibly more. They’re just thinly-spread.
I was born in 1970 in Glastonbury, a small but very famous town in England. I really wanted to be a scientist, mainly because I had visions of myself with wild hair and a white coat, standing behind a mess of bubbling beakers and foaming test-tubes, giggling hysterically at my latest discovery. In the event, however, I ended up studying languages instead and so, by a complicated route, found myself living in a small village in Germany with my German wife and two German cats.
Although I had been attempting to make my mark on the internet for some years, having taught myself to build a website, the real breakthrough came in 2006, when my wife bought a camcorder for Christmas, and a new hobby was born. Not knowing what else I was going to do with my videos, I signed up for a YouTube account. As it turned out, I was better at making videos than I (or, indeed, anyone else up until that point) thought possible, and so there followed YouTube partnership and the chance to actually make money with a hobby.
Until such a time as I am making enough money to actually live on, I am working as a translator and English teacher.
